Terms of Use

1. The publisher

This website is published by Mei Tan (“I”, “we”) trading as SG Garden Notes, 72 Koon Seng Road, Singapore 426988, email [email protected]. It is a personal editorial journal. It is not a company selling tickets and it is not an official page of any attraction.

2. Independent journal — no tickets, no payments

SG Garden Notes is an independent visitor journal. We are not affiliated with any attraction or its operator. We do not sell tickets and never process payments.

Nothing on this site is an offer of admission, a reservation, a voucher, or a contract of carriage. We do not take deposits. We do not hold timed-entry slots. We do not process card payments. If you need admission, you deal with the operator on their own channels.

3. Editorial content

The notes are personal opinion, written from walks in the Marina Bay gardens. Displays change. Paths close. Last-entry rules change. I am careful, and I am still a person with a notebook, not an official noticeboard. Check the operator if a fact would alter your day. Photographs are illustrative of the place as walked; they are not a promise that a particular bed will be in flower on your date.

4. No affiliation

We are not employed by, sponsored by, or commercially arranged with any attraction or its operator. Names of nearby places (stations, a hawker stretch, the barrage) are used geographically. Do not treat this journal as the operator’s voice.

5. Acceptable use

You may read the pages, link to them, and quote short passages with attribution to SG Garden Notes and a link to the source page. You may not:

• copy the site as if it were yours, or scrape it to train a commercial product without permission;
• present these pages as an official attraction publication;
• use the contact form to send malware, bulk advertising, or other people’s personal data;
• attempt to break into the server or overload it.

6. Contact form

The form is for correspondence with Mei. Abusive or bulk messages may be deleted without a reply. Do not send payment details or ticket files you expect us to “fix”. Personal data you submit is handled under the Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property

Text on this journal is © 2021–2026 Mei Tan except where another credit is given. Photographs are used under licences that permit reuse (including Wikimedia Commons); captions credit the source. Marks, buildings and planting belonging to third parties remain theirs. We do not grant you a licence to those.

8. Disclaimer

The journal is provided as it stands, for general information. To the extent Singapore law allows, we exclude liability for loss arising from reliance on these notes — including a missed entry window, a closed path, weather, or a decision to visit or not to visit. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or free of faults.

9. External links

Links to other websites are convenience only. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief elsewhere if someone copies the site. If a court finds one sentence unenforceable, the rest remain.

11. Changes

We may update these terms by publishing a new version on this page. The date above is the version you are reading.
